Nina Arbutus Shipman's Obituary
Nina Arbutus Shipman, 87, wife of Charles B. Shipman, of Raphine passed away Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Mrs. Shipman was born in Augusta County, Virginia on November 11, 1933, and was the daughter of the late Gordon Weeks and Carrie Bell (Lawhorn) Moran.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by six sons, David Ryder, Kent C. Ryder, Jr., Gary Ryder, Michael Ryder, Nelson Ryder, and Ray Ryder; two daughters, Mary Bowen and Diane Vannoy; one step-daughter, Norma; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 18, 2021 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Reverend William "Bill" Trice.
The family will receive friends following the service.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
