Nicholas Harakidas, 97, husband of Rita Ferine Harakidas, of Greenville, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at his residence

Mr. Harakidas was born in Yonkers, New York on August 24, 1925 a son of the late George and Theodora (Zauradinou) Harakidas.

Nicholas served in the United States Army Air Corps in Europe and was employed as a special delivery driver then a maintenance supervisor for 40 years by the Yonkers Post Office. After retirement, he and his wife, Rita moved to Haverhill, New Hampshire. Nick was a loving husband and father and was always willing to help anyone in need. He was a hard-working man and had many talents. Nick loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and never found anything wrong with anyone, always looking for the good in people. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Surviving, in addition to his wife of seventy-three years is a son, William Harakidas and his wife, Lauren; daughters, Joan Trice and her husband, Bill and Nancy Casarella and her husband, Charles; a sister, Angie Lawrence; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 2, 2022 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Reverend William "Bill" Trice.

A private family burial will take place at a later date.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
