Nancy C. Taylor's Obituary

Nancy Cecelia (Crafton) Taylor, 90, widow of Edward Glenn Taylor formerly of Kindig Road, Waynesboro passed away Monday, May 17, 2021 at Accordius at Waynesboro.

Nancy was born in Mullins, West Virginia on March 31, 1931, a daughter of the late Frank Hanger and Katie Elsie (Lucas) Crafton.

Mrs. Taylor was an active member of the Fishersville Baptist Church, she played the piano, sang in the choir, and taught children's Sunday school classes. She retired from General Electric in 1982 with over thirty years of service, she enjoyed photography, collecting angels, doing cross stitch, and growing beautiful flowers at her home.

In addition to her husband of sixty-two years and parents, Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by two brothers, Don Richard Crafton and Robert Franklin Crafton.

Mrs. Taylor was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Surviving is a daughter, Dorothy T. Hamilton of Staunton; two grandchildren, Chris Hamilton and Katie Hamilton; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held at Augusta Memorial Park by Reverend William "Bill" Trice.
