Obituary
Nancy Hastings McPhatter, 80, of Waynesboro, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at Augusta Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fishersville.
She was born in Concord, North Carolina on September 27, 1945, a daughter of Clyde Hastings and Mildred Cagle.
Nancy was employed by Ace Hardware in Waynesboro and later retired from Hollister in Stuarts Draft. She enjoyed cooking and also caring for dogs and cats.
She is survived by cousins, Steve Cagle and Carol Wilson and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at Sherando Community Church Cemetery in Stuarts Draft.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
