Nancy Lee (Martin) Stuples, 83, wife of Richard Basil Stuples of 30 Sunny Acres Lane, Craigsville, Virginia passed away, Monday, October 4, 2021 at her residence.
Mrs. Stuples was born in Augusta County, Virginia on March 30, 1938, a daughter of the late Herman and Annie (Martin) Knight.
Nancy was a wonderful homemaker and she enjoyed taking trips, camping, fishing, and working puzzles.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stuples was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Stormie Stuples; and a daughter-in-law, Sandy Stuples.
Surviving in addition to her husband of sixty-five years, are three sons, William "Rick" Stuples and his wife Cathy of Brownsburg, Stanley A. Stuples of Goshen, and Joseph L. "Fuzzy" Stuples and his wife Dorothy of Craigsville; a daughter, Karen L. Strickler and her husband Russell, Jr. of Goshen; a brother, Conrad Martin, Sr. and his wife Lummie of Stuarts Draft; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren and nine step-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
A Celebration of life will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 7, 2021 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Lewis Knight.
Burial will follow the service in the Little River Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Joseph Stuples, Jr., Martin Stuples, Russell Strickler, III, Jason Hinkle, Matt Wiles, and William Stuples, III.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Randolph, J.J. Randolph, Robbie Randolph, Jonathan Balser, J.J. Hinkle, Haley Stuples, and Julianna Hinkle.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
