Nancy G. Crittenden
STAUNTON:
Nancy Ruth Crittenden, 65, of Staunton, Virginia, passed away on June 19, 2013.
She was born to the late Edward William and Anna Carryl (Lee) Greenstreet on October 29, 1947.
Nancy grew up in Catonsville, Maryland. She attended Emory \u0026 Henry College and went on to become an account executive with CIGNA Insurance Company for 33 years.
She was an active member of Memorial Baptist Church in Staunton, VA where she sang in the choir and was a member of the Sonshine Sunday School Class. She enjoyed golf and was an active member of the Waynesboro Country Club, where she was president of the Ladies Golf Association for two years. Nancy cherished her family more than anything, and spent much of her time doing things for others.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Jon; are daughters, Stephanie Orebaugh and Tracy Forrester; granddaughters, Annaleigh Goosens, Ellen Forrester and Claire Forrester; two loving sisters, Dorothy Barkley and Carryl Peters; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A service of death and resurrection will be on Friday, June 28th, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Baptist Church in Staunton, VA by Rev. Temple D. Meyers.
Interment will be Saturday, June 29th at 1:00 pm at the National Memorial Park in Falls Church, VA.
The family will be receiving friends Thursday, June 27th, 2013 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory in Staunton, VA.
