Nancy Lynn Bartley, 70, of Stuarts Draft passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.

Mrs. Bartley was born in Washington D.C. on December 11, 1951, the daughter of the late Ernest Ballard "EB" Atkinson and Annie Marie (Burnett) Atkinson.

Nancy enjoyed gardening and flowers, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family and pets.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bartley was preceded in death by two brothers, Tommy and Brian and a special grandmother, Elsie Burnett.

Surviving, is a daughter, Tammy Diehl and her husband Mike of Stuarts Draft; a son, Elmer William Bartley, Jr. and his wife Shannon of Stuarts Draft; grandchildren, Lance and his wife Heather, Landon and Lana Diehl, Sylvia, Amelia, Lena and Sawyer Bartley; great-grandchild, Liam Cole; her former husband, Elmer William Bartley, Sr. of Lyndhurst; two brothers, Joe Atkinson of Pelham, North Carolina and Donald Strader of Thomasville, North Carolina; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Rick Diehl.

A private burial will take place in Augusta Memorial Park.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
