Nancy B. Arehart

Nancy Marie (Burford) Arehart, 82, widow of Nathaniel Erskine Arehart, of 102 Bellview Street passed away Sunday, February 06, 2011 in Augusta Health.
Mrs. Arehart was born January 12, 1929 in Staunton, a daughter of the late George and Nannie (Roadcap) Burford.
Nancy was a member of Drexel Hill Presbyterian Church. She was employed as a secretary for a Certified Public Accountant in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania until her retirement and she enjoyed researching family genealogy.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Survivors include a son, David Erskine Arehart of Staunton; a brother-in-law, Forrest C. Arehart and his wife Betty of Waynesboro; a cousin and care-giver Butch Stone and his wife Linda of Fincastle and a number of nieces, nephews and other family members also survive.
The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2011 in Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
A Graveside service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2011 in Thornrose Cemetery by Rev. J. Wade Munford.
It is suggested that memorial contributions be made to Hebron Presbyterian Church Organ Fund, 423 Hebron Road, Staunton, VA 24401.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
