Obituary

Myrtle Maxine Midge (Necessary) Revercomb, 81, widow of Thomas Eugene Revercomb, Sr. of 207 Archer Street, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2016 at her residence.
Mrs. Revercomb was born on September 30, 1934 in Green Cove, Virginia, a daughter of the late James and Ora (Blevins) Necessary.
Midge was a member of Memorial Baptist Church. She was self-employed as a caregiver, and formerly employed at Ingleside and Kathys Restaurant as a hostess and waitress. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Revercomb was preceded in death by an infant son, Thomas Eugene Revercomb, Jr.; an infant daughter, Susan Renee Revercomb; three brothers, L.C., Charles and Archie Necessary and two sisters, Aleese Cummings and Freda Hess.
Surviving are two sons, Larry E. Revercomb of Goochland and Gary C. Revercomb and his wife Erica of Churchville; a daughter, Judy L. Dubler of Springfield; six grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Dunn and her husband Reed, Shayna Suzan Dubler, Joshua Walker Revercomb, Tristan Thomas Revercomb, Christopher James Revercomb and Trevor Blake Revercomb; two brothers, James T. Necessary and his wife Jeanie of Green Cove, and Kenneth Necessary of Abington; two sisters, Shelby Kondas of Hillsville and Patsy Marple and her husband William of Independence; special friends, Mildred Burns and Ruth Knott and a number of nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the residence.
Burial will be private in Oaklawn Memory Gardens.
It is suggested those desiring make memorial contributions to St. Johns United Methodist Church, 5312 Backlick Road, Springfield, Virginia 22151.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
