Moses Carver Crawford's Obituary

Moses Crawford, 77, of Staunton, passed away on Tues., Dec. 14, 2021 at Augusta Health.

Mr. Crawford was born in Staunton on Sep. 8, 1944, a son of the late Saint A. II and Elaine Crawford.

Mr. Crawford was a Vietnam veteran of the United States Army. He attended Booker T. Washington School and retired from DuPont. In his early years, Moses was an avid swimmer and a lifeguard at Montgomery Hall Park.

In addition to his parents, Moses was preceded in death by three brothers, Ebenezer Sr., Samuel, and Jacob Crawford.

Surviving, are seven siblings, Saint III, Joseph, James (Alese), Abraham Sr., and Cynthia Crawford, Mabel Wilson and Elaine C. Jordan; two sisters- in- law, Olga and Virginia Crawford, and numerous nephews, nieces and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Mon., Dec. 20, 2021 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. James McIntosh.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memory Gardens.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
