Minnie Jane (Campbell) Reed, 82, widow of Franklin Junior "Buddy" Reed, of Staunton, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg.

Mrs. Reed was born in Craigsville, Virginia on December 25, 1941.

Minnie retired from Western State Hospital after 37 years of service as a CNA.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Reed was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Dale Sirk; her daughter, Debra Balser; and a sister, Mary Alice Campbell.

Surviving, is her grandson and caregiver, Curtis Balser of Staunton; son-in-law, Joseph Balser of Staunton; a brother, Robert Campbell of West Virginia; and a sister, Tina Redifer of Mt. Solon.

A private graveside service will be held in Oaklawn Memory Gardens.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
