Mildred Clark Garland, 79, wife of Charles Alexander Garland of 247 Tinkling Spring Road, Fishersville passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021 at her residence.
Mrs. Garland was born in Augusta County, Virginia on November 20, 1941, a daughter of the late Lester Willard and Mary Lillian (Holbert) Massie.
Mildred retired from General Electric/GENICOM Corp. where she was employed in the Relay department.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Garland was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Ott; two brothers, Kenneth Massie and Alvin Massie and a son-in-law, Christian Hurst "Chris" Harris.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 45 years, are two sons, Patrick Garland (Amie) and Clarence "CG" Clark (Marie); a daughter, Michele Harris; grandchildren, Summer Harris, Lauren Giddens (Drew), and Joey Clark; four siblings, Sarah Robertson (Barry), Sandra Hooker (Barry), Donnie Massie (Dorothy), and Johnnie Massie; a number of nieces and nephews and her pet dog, Lilly and cat, Bella.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2021 in Riverview Cemetery, Waynesboro by Pastors Todd Brown and Stacey Burkholder.
The family will receive friends following the service from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the residence.

The family would like to expend a special "Thank You" to Augusta Health Hospice of the Shenandoah and to the Augusta Health Home Care.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
