Mickie Lynn Johnson-Wetzel, 44, wife of John Wetzel of 10 East Gate Drive passed away Sunday, February 7, 2016 in California.
Mickie was born on May 13, 1971 in Columbus, Indiana, daughter of the late Larry and Billie (Cutright) Hopper.
Mickie was employed as a CNA. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends. Mickie was a Mom to all that knew her including her childrens friends.
Surviving in addition to her husband of twenty-four years, are two sons, Shane Wetzel of Verona and Joshua Johnson and his wife Doris of Staunton; a daughter, Taia LyKent Johnson-Wetzel of Verona; a brother, Donald Scott Johnson of Sussex; a sister, Robin Eudora Marshall of Fulks Run; and three grandchildren, Kayleigh, Zane and Alexis; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
A Memorial service will be conducted 6:00 p.m. Sunday, February 14, 2016 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Deborah Colbert Cline.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
