Michael Dewane Mike Stephenson, 45, of 34 Midvale Drive, passed away Friday, November 14, 2014 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Mr. Stephenson was born December 25, 1968, a son of Charles L. Stephenson, Jr. and Linda (Kelley) Mynes.
Mike attended Calvary Baptist Church, and was employed by Dixie Gas \u0026 Oil Company for fifteen years. He enjoyed car shows, and dearly loved his family and friends.
Mr. Stephenson was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Mary Kelley, and a brother, Troy Wayne Stephenson.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Stephenson is survived by his fianc of 25 years, Julie Burns; two sons, Christopher Stephenson and wife Candace, and Cody Stephenson, all of Verona; a brother, Charles L. Stephenson, Jr. and wife Rhonda of Staunton; two sisters, Mary D. Ervin and husband Mark of TN, and Sandra Marshall of Staunton; a special brother-in-law, George Marshall of Staunton; a special friend, Linda Burns of Covington, and many other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 17, 2014 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2014 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Randy Wagner.
Active pallbearers will be Mark Ervin, Jr., Mark Kelley, Eddie Kelley, Dakota Kelley, Cody Hughes, and Ronnie Amos.
Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park, Waynesboro.
