WAYNESBORO:

Michael Salvatore Paduano, 60, husband of Nora (Fitzpatrick) Paduano of 413 Cattle Scales Road passed away unexpectedly Saturday, February 4, 2012 in Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Michael was born June 20, 1951 in Maspeth, NY, a son of the late Salvatore and Eileen Paduano.
Mr. Paduano was a veteran of the United States Army and served his country during Vietnam. He started in construction upon leaving the service and learned how to repair a house from the roof down. Throughout his long productive life, he enjoyed helping many, creating jobs and teaching useful skills. He loved his work and it showed. He was an uncomplicated, honest and generous man who enjoyed golf, cooking, and was an avid New York Giants fan that always had a GREAT STORY TO SHARE.
Survivors are his best friend and wife of thirty-two years, Nora, two sons, Michael and his wife Denise of Waynesboro and grandson, Ryan who loved his Gramps a son, Brian of PA and his children, Brian, Brandon and Noelle; two brothers, Anthony and Richard and four sisters, Eileen, Laura, Ann Marie and Betty.
It is suggested that memorial contributions be made to Operation Smile, 6435 Tidewater Drive, Norfolk, VA 23509.
The family will receive friends 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the residence.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
