Michael Ovandy "Mike" Shifflett, 57, of Cold Springs Road in Raphine and formerly of Balsley Road in Staunton, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Augusta Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fishersville.

Mr. Shifflett was born in Waynesboro on August 2, 1965, a son of David Lewis Shifflett and the late Linda (Fitzgerald) Shifflett.

Mike was a self-employed electrician and a "Jack of all Trades". He enjoyed working on cars. Mike loved his Jeep, '69 Chevelle, and fishing was one of his favorite past times.

Surviving in addition to his father and step-mother, Sandy Shifflett of Staunton, is a son, Michael Tyler Shifflett and a daughter, Natalie Alexis Shifflett both of Raphine; his siblings, Anita Shifflett Hanger, of Fishersville, Jason Shifflett of Florida, Brian Shifflett and his wife, Carole of Stuarts Draft, Stacy McCray and wife Anita of Churchville, Terry Bartley and his fiancé, Sherri Henderson, and Derek Bartley all of Staunton; the mother of his children, Phyllis Shifflett of Raphine; numerous nieces and nephews including Emily Hanger, Jordan Hanger, Kaitlyn Campbell and husband Josh, Jessica Shifflett and Kagen Shifflett, as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 in Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.

A Graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 7, 2022 in Augusta Memorial Park by Pastor Wanda Meyers.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
