Michael Dean Hall, 56, husband of Joyce (Leitch) Hall of 995 Jefferson Highway, Staunton, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2011 due to a motor vehicle accident in Bath County, Kentucky.
Mr. Hall was born April 9, 1953 in Augusta County, a son of the late Betty M. (Henderson) Hall and Robert Arthur Hall.
Michael was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and was employed several years as a transportation driver for different trucking companies, most recently for U.S. Express.
In addition to his mother, Michael was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents George and Anna Gladwell and father-in-law Frank Leitch.
In addition to his wife and father of Staunton, Mr. Hall is survived by his step-mother, Nancy Ann (Shull) Hall of Staunton; two brothers, Robert K. Hall of Atlanta, GA., and Steven Scott Hall and his wife Sandy of Staunton; a niece Kaitlynn Hall of Atlanta, GA.; two step-sons Robby Varner of Staunton and Randy Varner of North Carolina; mother-in-law, Louise Leitch of Staunton; three step-brothers Barry Brown, Larry Brown and Scottie Craig all of Pennsylvania; a step-sister Penney K. Brown of Stuarts Draft and a number of cousins and many close friends also survive.
A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 7, 2011 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Steve Parker.
The family will receive friends following the service or at other times the home of his father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Hall, 1807 King Street, Staunton.
Burial will be private.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory at 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
