Michael Eugene Bryant, 62, of D Street, Staunton, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Augusta Health in Fishersville

Mr. Bryant was born in Beaufort, South Carolina, on December 27, 1959 a son of Virginia (Calloway) Strother and the late James William Bryant.

Michael was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where he was baptized. He loved music and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

In addition to his father, Mr. Bryant was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin L. Bryant.

Surviving, in addition to his mother of Staunton, is a son, Michael X. Bryant of Staunton; two daughters, Alisha R. Bryant of Harrisonburg and Danielle M. Bryant of Richmond; a brother, Ulysses X. Bryant of Fishersville; two sisters, Felecia R. Bryant of Staunton and Melissa J. Brown of Arizona; six grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews and a host of cousins.

Due to COVID, all services will be private.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
