Melanie Kay (Propst) Easter, 53, widow of Dale Easter of Roanoke,

passed away Friday, February 9, 2018 at her residence.

Mrs. Easter was born on March 12, 1964 in Staunton, a daughter of the late Richard Lee and Sarah Lee (Fitzgerald) Propst.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Easter was preceded in death by an infant brother.

Left to cherish Melanies memory are five brothers and two sisters, Roger Propst (Helen), Mitchell Propst (Tammy), Steve Propst, Marshall Propst, and Michael Propst (Susan); Aletha Gail Sprouse (James) and Sheila Mooneyham (Bruce); fianc, Lynn Einhaus and his daughter, Andrea; and a number of nieces and nephews.

There will be no public services.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton, is in charge of her arrangements.
