Maxine (Frye) Driver's Obituary
Maxine (Frye) Driver, 97, widow of John Casper Driver of Staunton passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Augusta Health and Rehabilitation Center in Fishersville.
Mrs. Driver was born July 11, 1915 in Harrisonburg, a daughter of the late Isaiah Frye and Susan Catherine (Thomas) Frye.
Mrs. Driver was a member of the Barren Ridge Church of the Brethren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Maxine was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray and Roy Frye.
Survivors include two sons, C. Milton Driver and Millard T. Driver both of Staunton; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 7, 2012 at the Barren Ridge Church of the Brethren by Pastor Galen Combs.
Burial will be private in the church cemetery.
It is suggested those desiring make memorial contributions to Barren Ridge Church of the Brethren, 1790 Barrenridge Road, Staunton VA 24401.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
