Mary Lou (Swink) Corbello, 70, widow of Angelo Anthony Thomas Corbello, of Staunton, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at the Shenandoah House in Fishersville.

Mrs. Corbello was born in Staunton, Virginia on November 10, 1953, a daughter of the late Weldon Fox Swink and Virginia Alice (Ruleman) Swink.

Mary Lou retired from A.S.R. and attended Good News Ministries, where she greatly enjoyed the friendship of Pastor Wanda Myers, and her church family. She loved all types of music, dancing, and never met a stranger. Mrs. Corbello enjoyed doing word searches, traveling, flowers and was a dog lover. "If you were her friend, you had a friend for life."

Surviving, is a son, Jason Swink and his wife, Vanessa of Raphine; a sister, Martha (Swink) Rankin and her husband, Benny of Staunton; a grandson, Anthony Swink; a niece, Jennifer L. Desper and her husband, Howard; a great-niece; a great-great-niece; a lifelong friend, Barbara Carte and family; a new found friend, Veronica; and many extended family members.

Per her request, there will be no services.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
