Mary Ann (Sedlak) Franklin, 90, widow of Ralph Emerson Franklin, Jr. of Staunton, passed away Friday, February 8, 2019 in Birch Gardens.
She was born on June 15, 1928 in Manhattan, New York, daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Hedborn) Sedlak.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Franklin was preceded in death by a daughter, JoAnn Sparling.
Surviving is a step-son, Gerald Franklin and his wife, Elaine of Fishersville; a step-daughter, Terri Franklin of North Carolina; a grandson, James Sparling; and three great-grandchildren.
Inurnment will take place at a later date in Washington Memorial Park, Mt. Sinai, New York.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton, is in charge of her arrangements.
