Mary Ellen (Miller) Troyer, 63, wife of Pastor Calvin Troyer, of 639 Horseshoe Circle, passed away Monday, October 28, 2013, at her residence.

Mrs. Troyer was born December 23, 1949 in Stuarts Draft, a daughter of the late Jacob and Nancy (Schrock) Miller.

Mrs. Troyer was a member of Olive Branch Christian Church and she was owner / operator of Troyers Family Day Care Center for Children, helping and caring for the needs of children.

In addition to her husband of 43 years, survivors include two sons Jonathan D. Troyer and David R. Troyer both at home; three daughters Rosaline K. Broce and husband Douglas of Stuarts Draft, Darlene F. Troyer and Desirae J. Troyer both at home; five brothers, Irvin Miller of Stuarts Draft, David Miller of South Carolina; Alvin Miller of Harrisonburg; Elmer Miller of Stuarts Draft and Joseph Miller of Washington; three sisters Amanda Schrock of Costa Rica, Rhoda Miller of Texas and Alma Troyer of Maine; nine grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

A funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 1, 2013 in Pilgrim Christian Church, 240 Twin Hill Road, Stuarts Draft by Pastor Eli Troyer.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Pilgrim Christian Church.

Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be family and church members attending the service.
