Mary Jane (Jarvis) White, 82, wife of Walter "Tommy" White, Sr., of Deerfield, went to the loving arms of her Jesus on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Kings Daughters Nursing and Rehabilitation in Staunton.

Mrs. White was born in Augusta County, Virginia on April 19, 1943, daughter of the late James Jarvis and Mary (Johnson) Jarvis.

Mary retired from Augusta Petroleum Corporation.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. White was preceded in death by a son, Gregory White; a brother, Thomas Jarvis; and a special cousin, Charlie Johnson.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are five children, Jennifer Cline (Robbie), Carlton White (Kim), Carol Hanger, Walter T. White, Jr. (Jennifer), and Mary Ann Starks (Tom); two sisters, Carrie Whitesell (Benny) and Sarah Lotts (Fred); seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
