Mary Frances (Ingram) Dawson, 85, of 2503 North Sharlaine Drive, Staunton, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.

Mrs. Dawson was born in Goshen, Virginia on May 27, 1937 a daughter of the late Albert Barney and Timothy Lillian (Harris) Ingram.

Mary was a member of the Church of God in Staunton for over 45 years. She loved her church family and her Pastor, Jerry Thomas and his wife Barbara. She was a dedicated Christian, prayer warrior and enjoyed reading her Bible. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and loved her pet cats and dogs.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dawson was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Dawson of Staunton; two sisters, Polly Colvin of Craigsville, and Lucille Wills of Roanoke; four brothers, George Ingram of Roanoke, and Abe, Mason and John Ingram, all of Goshen.

Surviving, is her husband of 58 years, Harold Leroy Dawson; five children, Steve Ingram and wife Cindy of Verona, Terry Dawson of Staunton, Rick Dawson and his fiancé, Kim Allison of Chillicothe, Ohio, Jack Dawson and wife Shawna of Staunton, and Eddy Dawson and wife Hiliana of Waynesboro; eight grandchildren, Tanya Ingram of Waynesboro, Lisa Ingram of Verona, Steven Ingram of Waynesboro, Travis Dawson of Staunton, Trevor Elphee of Churchville, Michael Dawson of Middleburg, Florida, Cody Dawson of Waynesboro, and Mason Dawson of Staunton; five great-grandchildren, Trey, Sean, Jordan, Tanner, and Elijah; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services will be private.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
