Mary "Betty" Crittenden passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Augusta Health in Fishersville, Virginia.
She was born July 23, 1918 in Fairview, North Carolina a daughter of the late James B. and Balma B. Guffey.
Beloved wife of the late J.L. Crittenden, Sr. and survived by son, Jon L. Crittenden, Jr., granddaughters, Tracy Forrester and Stephanie Orebaugh, great granddaughters, Annaleigh Goosens, Ellen and Claire Forrester.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Memorial Baptist Church with reception to follow.
Burial will be at National Memorial Park Cemetery in Falls Church, Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank in Verona, Virginia.
