Mary Alice Breeden's Obituary

Mary Alice Breeden, 91, widow of Robert Lee Breeden, of Fishersville, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.

Mrs. Breeden was born in Fishersville, Virginia on September 18, 1930, a daughter of the late Oscar G. Furr, Sr. and Ethel (Bradley) Furr.

Mary was a member of Olivet Presbyterian Church. She retired after 25 years of service at G.E./Genicom as a Relay Tech and loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by a brother, Oscar G. Furr, Jr. and two sisters, Rebecca Breeden and Helen R. Hargrave.

Surviving, is a daughter, Pamela B. Mizer and her husband Gary of Waynesboro; a sister, Elizabeth Fleming of Pine Knoll Shores, North Carolina; a grandchild, Kelly M. Cash and her husband Ben of Fishersville; two great-grandchildren, Rylee M. Cash and Carson W. Cash; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Augusta Memorial Park in Waynesboro by Reverend William Trice.

Those choosing to pay their respects may do so from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
