Mary Virginia (Bowman) Meadows's Obituary
Mary Virginia (Bowman) Meadows of Weyers Cave passed away peacefully at her daughter's home on Thursday, July 4, 2019.
She was born on March 31, 1926 in Weyers Cave, a daughter of the late Dewey and Arlene Bowman.
In addition to her husband who passed away in 1985, Mrs. Meadows was preceded in death by three brothers, Dallas Bowman, John Bowman, and David Bowman.
She is survived by six children, Janice Harris of Staunton, Richard Meadows of Weyers Cave, Cheryl Hart (Jay) of Richmond, Cindy Walker (Marvin) of Radford, Lloyd Meadows (Susan) of Weyers Cave, and Alan Meadows (Dawn) of Fort Defiance; twelve grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one sister, Audrey Eye of Harrisonburg.
A Graveside service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2019 in Middle River Church of the Brethren Cemetery by Mr. Russell Dale Rankin.
There will be no public viewing, however those desiring may pay their respects by visiting the funeral home at any time.
It is suggested those desiring make memorial contributions to Augusta Regional SPCA, P.O. Box 2014, Staunton, Virginia 24402.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton, is in charge of her arrangements.
She was born on March 31, 1926 in Weyers Cave, a daughter of the late Dewey and Arlene Bowman.
