Mary Irene (Bailey) Barcomb, 74, widow of Larry Steven Barcomb, of 917 Skymont Road, Staunton, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at the Shenandoah Hospice House in Fishersville.

Mrs. Barcomb was born in Staunton, Virginia on September 15, 1948, the daughter of the late Thomas William Bailey, Sr. and Dorothy Elizabeth (Warren) Bailey.

Mary retired from Envoy as a nurse, and was a member of Third Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed yard work and walking her pet dog, "Tuck".

In addition to her parents and her husband of forty-four years, Mrs. Barcomb was preceded in death by her best friend, Betty (Wade) Lam.

Surviving, is a daughter, Dianna R. Dice and her husband, Larry, of Staunton; a brother, Thomas "Tommy" W. Bailey, Jr. and his partner, "Bev" Oberg of Stuarts Draft; an aunt, Laurie Calhoun and her husband, Tom; an uncle, James Bailey and wife; and a number of nieces, nephews, and grand-fur babies.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 9, 2023 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 in Oaklawn Memory Gardens by Pastor Larry Strickler.
