Martha DeLisle Marty (Greene) DeWitt, 86, wife of Ralph Dewitt, Jr. of Staunton, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2017 at her residence following a lengthy illness. She has now joined her mother and father in heavenly spirit.

Mrs. DeWitt was born on February 18, 1931 in Montcoal, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Oley Edward and DeLisle Brooks (Kidd) Greene.

Martha was a member of the Annex United Methodist Church and she retired from Western State Hospital in 1997 as a registered nurse.

Surviving in addition to her husband of 61 years is a daughter, Sherry Rimel and her husband Paul of Staunton; two grandchildren, Alicia Theriot and her husband Branden of Staunton, and Matthew Rimel of Victoria; and three great-grandchildren, Bree, Brooke, and Mattey Rimel also survive.

In keeping with Mrs. DeWitts wishes, there will be no public services. Her cremains will be spread over her beloved family farm at a later date.
