Martha Amanda (Strickler) Campbell, 81, widow of Albert Scott Campbell of 1606 Skymont Circle and formerly of Craigsville, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at her residence.

Mrs. Campbell was born on March 8, 1937 in Augusta County, a daughter of the late Luther Wesley and Dolly Mae (Stickler) Strickler.

Martha attended the Middlebrook Church of God, and retired in 2010 from the West Beverley Street Tastee-Freez, where she was employed as a cook. Martha enjoyed going on trips with her family, collecting ceramic birds, clocks, and bird watching from her favorite chair.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by two brothers, and three sisters.

Surviving is a daughter, Barbara A. Reed and her husband Clifford of Staunton; a sister, Nellie F. Stephenson of Staunton; and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 31, 2018 in the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the residence.

A Celebration of life will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 1, 2018 in the Middlebrook Church of God by Pastor Larry Strickler.

Burial will follow the service in the Little River Church of the Brethren Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be John Eckard, Marvin Strickler, Chris Lambert, Marshall Strickler, Bobby Bosserman, Rodger Huffman, and Bobby Sprouse.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton, is in charge of her arrangements.
