Mark Allen Baird, 66, husband of Elizabeth "Liz" (King) Baird, of Staunton, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.

Mr. Baird was born in Petersburg, Virginia on August 20, 1956, a son of the late Luther Calvin Baird and Pauline (Togger) Baird.

Mark was employed as a sales associate at Lowe's Home Improvement and was a member of Memorial Baptist Church. He enjoyed old cars and working with computers.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Baird was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Baird.

Surviving, in addition to his wife of 39 years, is a brother, Paul Baird of Virginia Beach; a sister, Martha Baird of Staunton; six sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and a number of nieces, nephews and many cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Memorial Baptist Church by Pastor Todd Latham.

The family will receive friends following the service in the Great Hall.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
