Marion J. Bergin
STAUNTON:

Marion Crewe (Jones) Bergin, 82, widow of Martin Anthony Bergin of 866 New Hope Road passed away Thursday, December
23, 2010 at the Envoy of Staunton.
Mrs. Bergin was born October 13, 1928 in Middlebrook, a daughter of the late Benjamin Crewe and Lena Mae (Holts) Jones.
Mrs. Bergin was retired from the City of Staunton School
System where she taught the second grade for fifteen years. She attended Covenant Presbyterian Church and loved to house
sit with the elderly.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in
death by a brother, Benjamin Ben Jones.
Survivors include three sons and a daughter-in-law, Paul H. Bratton of Alaska, John C. Bratton of Staunton and David M. Bratton and his wife Angie of Millboro; a sister, Mary Alice Anderson of Staunton.
A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2011 in Thornrose Cemetery by Pastor John C. Peterson.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
