Born in Francesville, Indiana, to Joseph C. (Christian) and Flora Kaupke Koebcke. Marie was 1 of 10 children. Survivors include Sylvia Dodge of LaCross IN, Samuel and wife Rachel Koebcke of McCalla, AL, Willard Koebcke of Francesville, IN, and sister-in-law, Kay Koebcke, of Crystal River, FL.

Marie was a devoted wife, mother and firm believer in the Lutheran doctrine. Marie would like to thank all her many friends at The Legacy in North Augusta where she and her husband have been residing these past 7 years.
