Margaret Catherine Wilsher's Obituary
Margaret Catherine (Price) Wilsher, 94, formerly of Frontier Ridge Court passed away Sunday, February 1, 2015 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Mrs. Wilsher was born February 3, 1920 in Amherst County, a daughter of the late W. W. and Jeannett (Reynolds) Price.
Margaret loved the Lord and her church and was an active member of the Third Presbyterian Church, and the Presbyterian Womens Circle. She was a wonderful homemaker and a friend to everyone in her community. Mrs. Wilsher never met a stranger.
Surviving are three sons, Gary Wilsher of Staunton, William Lee Wilsher of Roanoke and J. Larry Wilsher and his wife Patricia of Las Vegas, NV; two brothers, Jack Price of Monroe and Donald Price of Lynchburg; a sister, Evelyn Peters of FL; seven grandchildren, Christopher Wilsher, Lorie Wilsher, Scott Wilsher, Gina Wilsher, Amanda Ferguson, Jimmy Wilsher and Regan Wilsher; and four great-grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be conducted 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the Third Presbyterian Church by Pastor Harry Johns and Rev. John Ward. The family will receive friends following the service in the church social hall.
It is suggested those desiring make memorial contributions to the Third Presbyterian Church, 1313 Barterbrook Road, Staunton, VA 24401.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
