Margaret Shirley Rothgeb, 90, widow of, Samuel Bruce Rothgeb Jr., of Staunton, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Shenandoah Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fishersville.

Mrs. Rothgeb was born in Wales on October 10, 1932, a daughter of the late Fred Ronald Vincent and Ann Elizabeth (Smouth) Jones.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Olive Elizabeth Jones Geldenhuys.

She is survived her son, Christopher B. Rothgeb; a brother, Elwyn Vincent Jones; and two sisters, Kathleen and Dorothy Jones.

There will be no services.

The family would like to express a special "Thank You" to Legacy Hospice for their loving care and concern.
