Margaret Alice (Pase) G.G. Bennett, 91, widow of Willard Raymond Poppy Bennett of Cherry Hill Drive passed away Saturday, October 11, 2014 at the residence of her granddaughter.
Mrs. Bennett was born January 18, 1923 in Parsons, WV, a daughter of the late Charles and Gertrude (Hausar) Pase.
Margaret was a faithful member of Memorial Baptist Church and the Joy Sunday School Class. She was retired from Gray Manor Medical Center, Baltimore, Maryland as a nurse. G.G. will be greatly missed and remembered by her family and friends as a wonderful woman who loved her Lord and family dearly.
In addition to her parents and beloved husband of 72 years who passed away on January 6, 2014, Mrs. Bennett was preceded in death by a son, Bruce Bennett; two brothers, Charles Pase, Douglas Pase; a sister, Jacqueline Pase and a nephew Robert Parsons, Jr.
Surviving is a daughter Sandra Meseck of Staunton; a daughter-in-law, Eleanor Bennett of Lewes, DE; a sister, Lynn Parsons of Dundalk, MD; two granddaughters, Suzette Luethke and husband Ron and Cathy Ballew and husband George; two grandsons, Douglas Bennett and Brian Bennett; eleven great-grandchildren, Kenneth Sutphin, Thomas Marks, Jr. and wife Stacy, Tiffani Sutphin, Brian Marks and wife Heather Hydrick, Christopher Bennett, Kyle Rudolph, Travis Lewis, Van Luethke and wife Andrea, Ryan Ballew and wife Natalie, Michael Ballew and wife Katie and Jordan Ballew; five great-great grandchildren, Emma Hydrick, Gracie Sargent, David Sutphin, Summer Seitz and Mia Ballew; a niece Jacqueline Parsons; a nephew Kevin Parsons; special long-time friends, Eugene Sewell of Cumberland, MD and Kazuko Ballew of Staunton; and many cousins, great nieces and great nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2014 in the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
A Graveside service in memory of Mr. Willard Raymond Poppy Bennett and Mrs. Margaret Alice (Pase) G.G. Bennett will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 16, 2014 in the Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery, Flintstone, MD, with full military honors honoring Mr. Bennetts faithful service to his country.
