Margaret Louise Backe, 89, widow of James Leroy Backe, of Staunton, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Kings Daughters Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Staunton.
Mrs. Backe was born on September 25, 1929 in Woodstock, Virginia, daughter of the late Clinton and May (Wilkins) Reynolds.
Surviving are her daughters, Denise Shifflett (Les), Deborah Silk, and Darlene Allman (Frank); 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
A Private Family Service will be conducted at Riverview Cemetery in Waynesboro by Chaplain Murphy Terry.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton, is in charge of her arrangements.
