Marcella Ruth (Lutz) "Marcy" Shanks, 88, widow of W.H. Shanks of Community Way Apartments, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2015 in the Augusta Health, Fishersville.
"Marcy" was born on December 15, 1926 in Indianapolis, Indiana a daughter of the late Fred and Edith (Schneider) Lutz.
She was a retired Dental Assistant.
Mrs. Shanks is survived by two sons, Philip R. Shanks of Mayer, Arizona and Barry F. Shanks of Staunton.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
At "Marcy\u0027s" request, all services will be private and her body will be buried at sea.
