Mae (Craig) Crist, 84, widow of William Preston Crist, formerly of Verona, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at Journey's Crossing Assisted Living in Elkton, Virginia.

Mrs. Crist was born in New Hope, Virginia on July 29, 1938, as one of the triplets of the late Hensel Roosevelt Craig and Estalena (Aldhizer) Craig.

Mae was a member of Good News Ministry in Greenville, and retired from Western State Hospital where she was a dedicated employee for 22 years in housekeeping.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by six brothers, William, Clarence, David, Charles, Wayne, and Ray Craig; and four sisters, Nellie Lou and Irene Faye Craig, Shirley Shull, and Dorothy Utz.

Mrs. Crist was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Surviving, is a son, Ray L. Price, Jr. and his wife, LaDonna of Stuarts Draft; a daughter, Brenda Mae (Price) Good and her husband, Roger of Elkton; two grandchildren, Stephen Price and Ashley Stinnett; two great-grandchildren, Ragan Danielle Tinsley- Price and Devyn Layne Stinnett and a third expected great-grandchild due in October.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Todd Yoder.

Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memory Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be her son Ray L. Price, Jr. and Roy Kesterson, Kevin Campbell, Darrick Stinnett, Chris Kempton, and Wes Coffey.
