Mack Herman Wyatt, 83, husband of Georgie (Simpson) Wyatt of 2105 North Augusta Street passed away Sunday, June 7, 2015 in the University of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville.
Mack was born on October 5, 1931 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia, a son of the late Andrew Jackson and Minnie Ethel (Hankins) Wyatt.
Mack attended Memorial Baptist Church. He began his business career with Rockingham National Bank as Vice-President. Other business ventures include: ownership of Mack H. Wyatt Real Estate Corporation, Warehouses LTD, the developments of Hermitage Estates Subdivision, Rolla Mill Subdivision, McAllister Subdivision, partnership in Middlebrook Estates Subdivision, Taylor LLC, Greenhill Professional Park, partnership in Verona Business \u0026 Professional Office Complex, Rolla Mill Office Complex, Rolla Mill Medical Center, Middlebrook Professional Park, Harrington Place Subdivision, Bailey Road Subdivision, Mill Race Road Subdivision, Leaport Road Subdivision, and partnership in Churchville Plaza. Macks passion for Real Estate Development, combined with his unique ability to connect with people from all walks of life, enabled him to do the work he loved all the days of his life. Macks legacy is evident in the countless friendships that he has developed in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley that became his home. Mack and his wife Georgie enjoyed daily sunset walks and their extensive cross country traveling in their motor home.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Wyatt was preceded in death by five brothers, Jerry, Pete, Jack, Walter and Roy Wyatt and five sisters, Eleanor Shotwell, Ginger Wyatt, Luise Patterson, Betty Jean Wyatt and Rachel Wyatt.
Surviving in addition to his wife of thirty-two years, are two daughters, Luellan W. Cash and her husband Louie and Rebecca W. Watson and her husband Jack R., Jr. all of Swoope; a twin brother, Billy Wyatt of Gretna, VA; four grandchildren, Deke Cash and his wife Kelsey, Lindsey Cash and her fianc Kevin Shifflett, Jackson Watson and Jacob Watson; a great granddaughter, Leila Shifflett and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, June 14, 2015 in Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 15, 2015 in Memorial Baptist Church by the Rev. Temple D. Myers and Macks son-in-law, Mr. Louie Cash.
Burial will follow in Thornrose Cemetery,
Active pallbearers will be P.J. Wright, Dr. Marc Shields, Terry Westhafer, Dennis Rawley, Wayne Hite and Mark Dunsmore.
Honorary pallbearers will be Macks Real Estate Associates, Colleagues and Clients.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
