Mabel Ellen (Lilley) Arehart, 83, widow of Preston J. Arehart, formerly of Labelle Drive in Stuarts Draft passed away Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Augusta Health.
Mrs. Arehart was born on January 9, 1932 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late Glen Franklin and Myrtle Lula (Ludwig) Lilley.
Mrs. Arehart was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and she was a homemaker who enjoyed baking and cooking. Her greatest love was taking care of her family. In her youth, Mrs. Arehart enjoyed playing the guitar, singing and entertaining.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Arehart was preceded in death by six brothers, Larry, Raymond, Roy, Mike, Bob and Jim Lilley; and three sisters, Mary Higgs, Ileen Swisher Galford and Shirley Wilkins.
Survivors include a daughter, Debbie A. Bauley and her husband Tom of Columbia, MD; two grandsons, Dustin T. Bauley and his wife Rebecca and Trevor J. Bauley; a great granddaughter, Sadie R. Bauley; loving companion, Robert Bob Tanner of Stuarts Draft; a sister, Beulah Swisher of Stuarts Draft; a brother-in-law, Clarence D. Wilkins of Stuarts Draft; a close and special niece and nephew, Alice Margene Swisher of Staunton and Pastor Randy H. Swisher of NC; a number of other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and very special friends and neighbors, Mike and Bonnie Hinson and Wayne and Bonnie Wymer.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Randy H. Swisher.
Burial will follow at Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
