Lois Marie Wiseman's Obituary

Lois M. Wiseman, 79, wife of M. Hunter Wiseman has passed into the loving, living midst of our Heavenly Father above. She passed holding hands with the love of her life, Johnny, her affectionate nickname for her husband of fifty-nine years.
Mrs. Wiseman was born on March 8, 1934 in Kingsport, Tennessee to the late George and Annie Kate Lawson.
Lois loved her family and was loved by them as well. She had a true faith and love for Our Heavenly Father. One of her most enjoyable times was when she would go with Billie Heiser and/or Ginny Reid to visit the members of First Presbyterian Church that needed encouragement. Her friendship of these members as well as Billie and Ginnys friendship were some of her fondest memories. She expressed joy and blessings of the Lord with her niece and nephew by marriage, Shelia and James Fox of Staunton.
Lois enjoyed the many days spent with her loving husband traveling over all the United States while Hunter was in the Air Force. She loved to plant and watch the flowers grow as well as enjoying the wild animals stopping to visit while living on the mountain in Mint Spring.
In addition to her parents Lois was preceded in death by a brother, George Lawson, Jr. and two sisters, Gladys Cook and Vestal Caffarelli.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sisters, Doris Jean Herman and Elizabeth F. Dunn of Kingsport TN; one brother, H.B. Lawson and his wife Frances of Gray, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews.
