Lois Marcum Rollo's Obituary
Lois (Marcum) Rollo, 76, formerly of Maine Circle, Staunton, passed away Monday, July 8, 2013 at Augusta Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Rollo was born February 16, 1937, in Bath County, a daughter of the late James Arthur and Martha Jane (Salmons) Marcum.
Lois attended Staunton Church of God; she was the owner-operator of Coalter Inn Restaurant; she enjoyed playing the guitar, singing, dancing and playing Bingo. She lived her life to the fullest and never met a stranger.
In addition to her parents, and her first husband, Francis Eugene Bennett, Mrs. Rollo was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include a daughter, Ruthie J. Wimer; a sister Effie Florence Grant; two grandchildren, Lois Roberts and Ida Wimer; five great grandchildren, Megan Wimer, Kasey Roberts, Kylie Palmer, Michelle Palmer, and Selena Wimer; one great, great grandson, Aydriyan Garcia all of Staunton, and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Services will be private.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2013 at the home of her granddaughter Lois Roberts, 45 Freeport Lane, Staunton.
It is suggested that those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimers Association, 1160 Pepsi Place, Suite 306, Charlottesville, Virginia 22901.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
