Lloyd Bell Moore, 64, husband of Beverly Kay (Morris) Moore of 1676 East Side Highway, passed away Monday, July 6, 2015 at his residence.
Mr. Moore was born on June 23, 1951 in Staunton, a son of the late Charles E. and Mary (Marshall) Moore.
Lloyd was a member of Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren. He was owner and operator of Lloyds Auto Body and Repair where he was able to fulfill his passion in bodywork and also had a degree as a Computer Network Technician. In his spare time Mr. Moore enjoyed NASCAR racing and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents Mr. Moore is preceded in death by a brother, Charles J. Howdyshell.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 27 years is a daughter, Jennifer Marie Ross of Goshen; a brother, Boyd Edward Moore of Staunton; three grandchildren, Leah Lockridge, Annie Ross and Colton Ross and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2015 in the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory and other times his residence.
A Memorial service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2015 in Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren, 93 Samsons Circle, Crimora, VA by Pastor Janet Elsea.
Burial will be private in Oaklawn Memory Gardens.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Alan Desper, Roy Kesterson, Victor Howdyshell and Richard Bodkin.
