Lisa A. Phillips
STAUNTON:
Lisa (Alphin) Phillips, 51, wife of Steve Phillips of 518 F Street passed away Monday, January 30, 2012 in the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.
Mrs. Phillips was born September 17, 1960 in Staunton, a daughter of William and Nancy (Roberts) Berry.
Lisa attended Lee High School and most recently employed by Wal-Mart in the personnel office. She enjoyed sewing, animals and loved spending time with her family.
Surviving in addition to her parents and her beloved husband of 32 years, is a son, Bryan Phillips of Staunton; a daughter, Christina L. Harris and her husband Loren of Stuarts Draft; a granddaughter, Olivia Harris; three brothers, Billy Alphin of Churchville, Allen Hice of Shelby, NC and Randy Berry of Staunton; a sister, Tina Vest of Staunton; special friends, Larry Rodzinka, Sue Gates and Sue Warner; a number of nieces and her special pet dog Toby also survive.
A Memorial service will be conducted 6:00 p.m. Thursday, February 2, 2012 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Billy Coffey.
The family will receive friends following the service.
It is suggested that memorial contributions be made to the Augusta Regional S.P.C.A., 33 Archery Lane, Staunton, VA 24401 or to a charity of ones choice.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
