Linda Hanna Mitts's Obituary

Linda Merle (Hanna) Mitts, 68, wife of Earl Wayne Mitts Sr. of 1301 Lyle Avenue formerly of Lewisburg, Wst Virginia passed away Saturday, October 20, 2012 in Kings Daughters Community Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Mitts was born January 17, 1944 in Williamsburg, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Walker H. and Margaret (Sheets) Hanna.

Mrs. Mitts was a member of Mount Vernon Church of the Brethren and was a Medical Transcriptionist at Augusta Health. Linda enjoyed listening to the older hymns. She was a wonderful wife and mother and will be sorely missed by her family.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Mitts was preceded in death by a brother Ray Hanna.

Surviving in addition to her husband of 38 years are three daughters, Melanie Argenbright and Brian, Michele Brackman and B.J. and Alicia Fitzgerald and Jody all of Staunton; two sons, Randall Mitts and Schlia of Fredericksburg and Earl W. Mitts Jr. and Pauline of Inwood, WVa; four grandchildren Jenna Brackman, Kaylin Argenbright, Jason Mitts and Andrew Mitts; a sister Grace Morris of Verona; special children Isbell Lovett, Michelle Lovett, Estrellita Marquez and Taylor Brackman; a special nephew Kevin Hanna and Tammy and a number of nieces, nephews and four great-grandchildren also survive.

A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2012 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Randy Simmons.

Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Monday, October 22, 2012 in Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.

Active pallbearers will be Marshall Shiflet, Tom Whitesel, John Ratcliff, Ronnie Hepler, Brocky Nicely and Dennis Grimm.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Kings Daughters Nursing and Rehabilitation and the Legacy Hospice.
