Linda Jo (Gutshall) Zullig, 79, widow of Claude Richard "Dick" Zullig, of Patton Farm Road, Stuarts Draft, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022 at The Meadows at Stuarts Draft.

Mrs. Zullig was born in Christiansburg, Virginia on August 18, 1942, a daughter of the late Woodrow L. Gutshall and Janet Newman Gutshall.

Mrs. Zullig was a member of the Pleasant View Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Staunton Augusta Rescue Squad Ladies Auxiliary. Linda was a self-employed hairdresser and homemaker.

In addition to her parents and her husband of fifty-six years, Mrs. Zullig was preceded in death by a brother, Walter "Bennie" Beard.

Surviving, are two sons, Richard "Dean" Zullig and his wife Alyssa of Stuarts Draft and David Shannon Zullig and his wife Dulaney of Staunton; two brothers, Neil Beard of Georgia and Ralph Beard of Charlotte, North Carolina; two sisters, Evelyn Kirk of Norfolk and Wanda Taylor of Richmond; three grandchildren, Justin Zullig and his wife Rebecca, Nathan Zullig, and Dylan Campbell and his wife Megan; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 27, 2022 in the Pleasant View Evangelical Lutheran Church by Pastor Phyllis Diamond.

Burial will be private in Oaklawn Memory Gardens.

The family would like to express a sincere "Thank You" to the staff of The Meadows at Stuarts Draft Retirement Community for their compassion and exceptional care shown to Mrs. Zullig.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
