Levia was the wife of Jerry A. McLaughlin for 57 years before he passed in 2010. She was a loving wife and mother who spent her whole life caring for her family. She was an avid gardner and prided herself in her flower gardens.

She is preceded in death by parents and sisters MadgeLee and Mabel Ryder and brothers Bill, Lewis, Dallas, Walter, Calvin and Alex Alderman.

Survivors include two daughters, Cathy Strickler and husband Walter and Debbie Crummett and husband Glenn, and one brother, Woodrow Alderman, of Winchester, VA. Grandchildren include Samuel Acord, Joseph Acord, Kurtis Strickler, Kristan Dollar, Andrew Crummett, Melissa Calixto and 13 great-grandchildren.

Family will receive relatives and friends at the home of Levia McLaughlin on Sunday, February 7 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

A celebration of life service will be scheduled later and held in West Virginia.
