Letinia (Campbell) Chittum, 63, widow of Larry Wayne Chittum of Waynesboro, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2025 in Verona, surrounded by family and friends.

Mrs. Chittum was born on August 12, 1961 in Waynesboro, Virginia, a daughter of Janet M. (Kennedy) Campbell and the late Harry E. Campbell.

Letinia retired after 43 years from the Mundy Company. She loved animals, was a devoted wife and mother, and loved good conversation with family and friends. She was a hard worker, an avid collector and in her younger years she enjoyed going to Smith Mountain Lake.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Amber Bean and her husband Logan of Verona; a brother, Tori Campbell and his wife Dulcey of Charleston, South Carolina; a sister, Sharon Hartnett and her husband Gary of Apex, North Carolina; two grandchildren, Raelynn N. Bean and Ryleigh R. Bean, who lovingly called her, "Banana"; a niece, Emily LaPradd, and her husband, Richard of Venetia, Pennsylvania and their children, Logan and Henley; her best friend, Donna Herron and her husband Micah of Verona and their children Makayla and Spencer.

A private graveside service will be held at Augusta Memorial Park.

The family would like to express a special thank you to the Augusta Health Foundation Hospice of the Shenandoah for their loving care and support.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in Tina's memory, to the Augusta Health Cancer Center or Shenandoah Valley Animal Services.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
